Chai Mulled Wine
Description: Warm your cockles with our very festive Vanilla Chai Spiced Mulled Wine.
Ingredients
- 1 litre organic Merlot
- 1 orange
- 1 sliced lemon
- 5 tea bags Pukka Vanilla Chai or Original Chai.
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 20 cloves
Instructions
- Step 1
- Take your organic merlot (the wine highest in the antioxidant resveratrol) and add to a large saucepan
- Step 2
- Add sliced organic lemons to the wine
- Step 3
- Cut two organic oranges in half and press cloves into the skin before adding to the pan
- Step 4
- Add the 5 tea bags of Pukka Vanilla Chai or Original Chai to the pan along with some grated nutmeg
- Step 5
- Warm the mixture gently making sure that it doesn't boil
- Step 6
- Add the three tablespoons of brown sugar and gently heat for 15 minutes
- Step 7
- Ladle into glasses and say cheers to the festive season!
