Cottage Cheese Pizza Crusts
Description: A simple and protein-packed pizza crust made with cottage cheese and almond flour.
Ingredients
- 2 cups low fat cottage cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- Tomato sauce
- Shredded cheese
- Italian seasoning
- Your favorite pizza toppings
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a blender, combine cottage cheese and eggs. Blend until well combined.
- Stir in baking powder, salt, and almond flour.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spoon the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, creating 4 to 6 individual pizza crusts. Ensure there is space between each crust.
- Spread the batter evenly to form crusts.
- Bake for 18-25 minutes, or until the crusts are golden brown.
- Remove the crusts from the oven.
- Top each crust with tomato sauce, shredded cheese, and Italian seasoning.
- Return the pizzas to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot.
