Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz spaghetti
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and add to the skillet with the sauce.
- Slice cooked chicken and add to the pasta. Toss to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
