Creamy Garlic Butter Melting Cabbage

Ingredients
- 1 head of cabbage, cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp chili oil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sear the cabbage wedges in a hot skillet with a little oil until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer the seared cabbage to a baking dish.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add chopped shallots and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream, grated parmesan cheese, chili oil, and oregano.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the sauce over the cabbage in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-45 minutes, or until the cabbage is super soft, tender, and melty.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
