Creamy Pan-Fried Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Mashed potatoes
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Dredge pork chops in seasoned flour.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry pork chops for about 4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Pour in chicken broth and whisk until smooth.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Season with paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir constantly until the sauce thickens and is smooth.
- Serve pork chops over mashed potatoes and spoon sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley.
