Ingredients

  1. For the filling: Grilled or boiled chicken, shredded, mixed with carrot + bell pepper + white onion + green onion + salt + black pepper + sweet and hot paprika + garlic powder + oregano + black pepper. Processed cheese + labneh.
  2. For the dough: 2 cups of flour + 2 tbsp milk powder + 1 tbsp sugar + 1 tbsp yeast + 1 tsp salt and ¼ tsp baking powder. Mix well, then add 1 egg, ¼ cup oil, and 2 tbsp soft butter.
  3. Gradually knead in ½ cup of warm water until the dough becomes soft and holds together.
  4. Cover and let it rise until doubled in size.
  5. Divide into 7 balls, stuff immediately, seal tightly, then dip in buttermilk and coat completely with breadcrumbs.
  6. Place them on parchment paper to rise again for 10 minutes, just until slightly puffed, then fry in hot oil over medium heat until golden and crispy.
