Crispy Fried Pastries

Ingredients
- 1- Grilled or boiled chicken, shredded
- carrot
- bell pepper
- white onion
- green onion
- salt
- black pepper
- sweet paprika
- hot paprika
- garlic powder
- oregano
- black pepper
- Processed cheese
- labneh
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 tbsp milk powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup oil
- 2 tbsp soft butter
- ½ cup of warm water
- buttermilk
- breadcrumbs
Instructions
- For the filling: Grilled or boiled chicken, shredded, mixed with carrot + bell pepper + white onion + green onion + salt + black pepper + sweet and hot paprika + garlic powder + oregano + black pepper. Processed cheese + labneh.
- For the dough: 2 cups of flour + 2 tbsp milk powder + 1 tbsp sugar + 1 tbsp yeast + 1 tsp salt and ¼ tsp baking powder. Mix well, then add 1 egg, ¼ cup oil, and 2 tbsp soft butter.
- Gradually knead in ½ cup of warm water until the dough becomes soft and holds together.
- Cover and let it rise until doubled in size.
- Divide into 7 balls, stuff immediately, seal tightly, then dip in buttermilk and coat completely with breadcrumbs.
- Place them on parchment paper to rise again for 10 minutes, just until slightly puffed, then fry in hot oil over medium heat until golden and crispy.
