Easy Beef Brisket Ragu
Description: Beef brisket ragu that’s prepped in less than 15 minutes and perfect with pasta, mash or even in a buttery brioche roll. High protein and whole foods.
Ingredients
- 950g beef brisket joint
- 1 carrot (finely diced)
- 1 onion (finely diced)
- 5 garlic cloves (minced)
- 400g chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 100ml red wine
- 300ml beef stock
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp dried rosemary
Instructions
- Sear the brisket joint in a separate pan or in the slow cooker pot if it allows until it’s brown on all sides, remove from the pan and set to the side.
- Add all other ingredients into the slow cooker pot and mix well, then add the beef and cover it in the sauce well.
- Cook on high for 7 hours, shred the beef using two forks and ENJOY!
