Easy Japanese Curry

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- Pork meat (thinly sliced for shabu shabu)
- 2 blocks of Japanese curry roux (1/2 pack Golden Curry, 1/2 pack Kokumaro Curry)
- 10g butter
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- Water
- Rice
Instructions
- Prepare the rice.
- Wash rice gently.
- Cook rice in a rice cooker for 35 minutes.
- Chop the onion and carrot.
- Cut the pork meat into bite-sized pieces.
- Add oil to a pan and cook the vegetables first.
- Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
- Add the pork and cook until done.
- Add half a pack of Golden Curry roux and half a pack of Kokumaro Curry roux.
- Pour in 600ml of water (or 750ml if using only Golden Curry).
- Stir until the curry roux is melted.
- Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add 10g of butter, 2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 tsp of sugar.
- Stir for 2-3 minutes until the butter and sugar are completely melted.
- Serve the curry over rice.
