Easy One Pot Lasagna
Description: An easy, one-pot lasagna recipe perfect for busy families, especially during back-to-school season. Can also be made in a crockpot.
Ingredients
- 1-2 lbs cooked ground beef
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 spoonful minced garlic
- 1 28 oz. jar marinara sauce
- 1 14-oz. can diced tomatoes
- 32-oz. container beef or chicken bone broth (regular broth works too)
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1 tsp cajun seasoning (1/4 tsp for less spice)
- 16 oz heavy cream
- 10-12 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- Olive oil or butter for sautéing
- Ricotta cheese
- Parmesan cheese or mozzarella
Instructions
- Sauté the onions and garlic in olive oil or butter.
- Add cooked ground beef (drained of grease) to the pot.
- Stir in marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, broth, and seasonings (onion powder, italian seasoning, cajun seasoning).
- Stir and cook on medium heat for 1 hour.
- Add heavy cream and broken lasagna noodles.
- Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high heat, or until lasagna noodles are tender.
- Serve hot, topped with your favorite cheese (ricotta, parmesan, or mozzarella).
