Fire Cider Tonic

Instructions

  1. Chop the ginger, lemon, onion, and garlic.
  2. Add the chopped ingredients to a large jar along with rosemary, elderberries, peppercorns, star anise, cinnamon sticks, and horseradish.
  3. Pour apple cider vinegar over the ingredients, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  4. Seal the jar and let it infuse for several weeks (or longer) in a cool, dark place.
  5. Strain the liquid into a clean jar, discarding the solids.
  6. Store the fire cider tonic in the refrigerator and take a shot daily, or as needed, to support your immune system.
  7. It can also be used in salad dressings or other culinary applications.
