Ingredients
- 4 Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1 Parsley, Fresh
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/3 cup Brown sugar, light packed
- 1 tsp Paprika, smoked
- 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Butter, unsalted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Pour the brown sugar mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, ensuring each piece is coated.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened and caramelized. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Optional: For extra browning, you can broil for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
- Add the unsalted butter to the baking dish during the last 5-10 minutes of baking for extra richness and shine.
