- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 500 g flour
- 1 teaspoon dry instant yeast
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 150 ml warm water
- 80 ml warm milk
- 2 onions (thinly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 small pickled cucumber (sliced)
- Fried potatoes (cut into rings, sprinkled with sweet paprika, salt, and a little oil, air-fried at 170°C for 15 minutes)
- Burger sauce (or mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and garlic powder/minced garlic)
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Combine all dough ingredients in a bowl and knead until smooth. Cover tightly, wrap warmly, and let rise for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
- Prepare the Meat Filling: Add all spices to the ground beef and mix thoroughly.
- Caramelize the Onions: Cook sliced onions in a pan. Add soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, sweet chili sauce, and salt. Cook until soft, glossy, and caramelized.
- Assemble the Burgers: Once the dough has risen, divide it into 5-6 balls (about 150g each). Roll each ball out and place it inside a deep bowl or mold. Fold the dough over the filling and seal well.
- Baking: Mix 2 egg yolks with 1 tablespoon oil and brush the tops. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or black seeds if desired. Bake at 160°C for 30 minutes.
