How to Make Homemade Irish Cream
Description: This is my favorite recipe of all time. It's so good you'll want to double or triple the recipe. It is so good you will want to make this recipe so you can blow your friends away. And if you don't like Baileys, you have to try this. It's even better than Baileys.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (14 oz or 400 ml) sweetened condensed milk
- 120 ml or 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons or 45 ml honey (or agave nectar)
- 2 tablespoons or 30 ml vanilla extract
- 12 grams or 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 packets (or 4 teaspoons) instant coffee
- Homemade Irish Cream Liqueur
- Ice
- Rocks glass
Instructions
- Start by adding two 14 oz (400ml) cans of sweetened condensed milk to a container that holds at least half a gallon.
- Next, add 1/2 cup (120ml) of heavy cream, 3 tablespoons (45ml) of honey (or agave nectar), the same volume of vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons (12g) of cocoa powder, and two packets (or 4 tsp) of instant coffee. Decaf is fine if that's your thing.
- Finally, add an entire 750ml bottle of Irish whiskey.
- Blend until thoroughly incorporated.
- For a less sweet version, you can sub one can of condensed milk for evaporated milk, but do not sub both cans for evaporated milk.
- Bottle, refrigerate, and serve over ice.
- Pour two glasses.
- Give it a toast and enjoy.
