Moist Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- 250g flour
- 80g cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 cup (240ml) milk
- 2 eggs
- 400g sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 180ml oil
- 185ml hot coffee
- 200g condensed milk
- 100g heavy cream
- 100g dark chocolate
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Add milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and oil to a separate bowl and whisk well.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Add the hot coffee and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
- Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the chocolate ganache by combining condensed milk, heavy cream, dark chocolate, and butter in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Once the cake is baked, let it cool in the pan.
- Optional: prepare a simple syrup by boiling sugar and water together. Let it cool.
- Pour the simple syrup over the cake to moisten it.
- Pour the chocolate ganache over the cake and spread evenly.
- Decorate with chocolate sprinkles or grated chocolate.
