Mükemmel Mayalı Brioche Ekmeği / Keki
Description: A delicious brioche bread or cake recipe with chocolate filling.
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teacup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 150 ml warm milk
- 80 gr room temperature butter
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- Half a cup flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- Spreadable chocolate
- Chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- In a deep bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
- Dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Add the milk mixture, butter, and egg to the flour mixture and knead. The dough will be sticky.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts. Add half a cup of flour to one part and cocoa to the other, and knead them separately.
- Cover the doughs and let them rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the risen doughs, shape them as shown in the video, and add chocolate in between.
- Place the shaped dough onto a baking tray, cover it, and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Finally, brush the top with the egg yolk and milk mixture.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (bottom-top setting) for approximately 35 minutes, monitoring closely.
- Once out of the oven, cover the brioche with a clean cloth and let it cool.
