Ingredients

150g wood ash
1L tap water or rainwater
1 tbsp baking soda
2 tbsp soda crystals

Instructions

Sift the wood ash 1-2 times.
Mix the sifted ash with 1 liter of water.
Heat the mixture over the stove for about ten minutes.
Let the mixture macerate, stirring occasionally.
Filter the mixture through a cloth.
Wait for the liquid to settle. The liquid should turn from grey/brown to yellow, indicating it's ready to use.
Optional: Add 1 tbsp baking soda and 2 tbsp soda crystals to the base liquid and heat gently for enhanced cleaning properties.
