Paneer Curry for One

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil or ghee
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/4 tsp ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup crumbled or cubed paneer
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Add oil or ghee to a pan with cumin seeds, chopped red onion, green bell pepper, garlic, and salt. Cook until the oil separates a bit.
- Add tomato paste, ground coriander, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala. Mix and cook for about 2 minutes.
- Add milk and water to form the curry base.
- Add crumbled or cubed paneer and cook on medium heat for 5-10 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro.
- Serve with roti or rice.
