  1. Clean black urad dal and rajma and soak overnight
  2. In a pressure cooker, add soaked dal and rajma.
  3. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, salt and butter.
  4. Add water and pressure cook for 5-6 whistles.
  5. In a pan, add ghee and butter. Saute cumin and hing until aromatic.
  6. Add ginger paste and saute well.
  7. Add turmeric and red chilli powder. Saute well on low flame until oil separates.
  8. Add cooked dal and mix well.
  9. Add water to adjust consistency.
  10. Add salt and cook for 10 minutes.
  11. Add garam masala and kasuri methi. Mix well.
  12. Add cream and mix well.
  13. Finally add ghee and let it rest for 2 minutes.
  14. Serve hot.
