St. Patrick's Day Green Pasta
Description: A fun new green pasta recipe for St Patrick’s Day that’s great for kids and adults! It uses Birdseye frozen broccoli to make it even easier.
Ingredients
- 1 bag Birdseye frozen broccoli, thawed
- 1/3 cup basil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1.5 cup heavy cream
- 5oz goat cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 lb pasta
Instructions
- Add all ingredients besides olive oil and pasta into a food processor and puree until smooth and creamy.
- Drizzle in the olive oil slowly for the last minute or so.
- Transfer mixture to a sauce pan over medium heat and let cook for 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the sauce is looser.
