Steamed Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 12 tbsp sugar
- 6 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)
- 1½ tsp vanilla essence
- ¾ tsp baking powder
- 6 tbsp oil
- chocolate (for filling)
Instructions
- In a bowl, add eggs and sugar. Whisk well until light and slightly fluffy.
- Sift in cocoa powder, maida, and baking powder. Mix gently until combined.
- Add oil and vanilla essence. Mix to form a smooth, lump-free batter.
- Pour batter into mugs filling only ¾ full.
- Add chopped chocolate in the center of each mug.
- Place the mugs directly in a deep pot.
- Pour hot water around the mugs.
- Cover and steam on high flame for 2 minutes, then lower the flame and steam for 25 minutes.
- Check with a toothpick. Let it rest for a minute and enjoy warm.
