  1. In a bowl, add eggs and sugar. Whisk well until light and slightly fluffy.
  2. Sift in cocoa powder, maida, and baking powder. Mix gently until combined.
  3. Add oil and vanilla essence. Mix to form a smooth, lump-free batter.
  4. Pour batter into mugs filling only ¾ full.
  5. Add chopped chocolate in the center of each mug.
  6. Place the mugs directly in a deep pot.
  7. Pour hot water around the mugs.
  8. Cover and steam on high flame for 2 minutes, then lower the flame and steam for 25 minutes.
  9. Check with a toothpick. Let it rest for a minute and enjoy warm.
