Description: Tatins are a French dessert, usually made with fruit such as apples or pears, but here you will find a delicious original butternut squash tatin. It is original, easy and inexpensive.

  1. Make the dough: 300g flour, 18g sugar, 6g salt, 1 egg yolk, 60ml milk and 230g butter. Let it rest in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Prepare the butternut squash: peel it and slice it. You can slice it with a knife or with a mandoline, to a thickness of about 5 to 10 mm. Assemble the tart: melt butter in a tart pan, add sugar and butternut squash slices. Cover with the dough, roll it out, making sure to tuck the edges into the pan. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 45 minutes. Then, let it rest for 15 minutes before unmolding it. Add some grated parmesan or cheddar cheese on top.
  2. The tatin is cooked at 200 degrees for 45 minutes
  3. Let it rest for 15 minutes
  4. Unmold the tart
  5. Grate parmesan or cheddar cheese on top
