Valentine's M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 85 g butter, softened
• 75 g granulated sugar
• 75 g brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 180 g all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 50g dark chocolate, chopped or chips
• 50-100g Valentines m&m’s

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips and m&ms until evenly distributed.
6. Scoop cookie dough onto the baking tray (about 1–2 tablespoons per cookie, spaced apart).
7. Bake for 8–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
8. Let cookies cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
